Long before the Roman Empire arrived, this powerful and mysterious community inhabited the mountains and valleys of ancient Dalmatia.

Through remarkable artefacts, jewellery, weapons and ritual objects, this exhibition reveals the culture of the people whose name still lives in the word Dalmatia.

The museum’s permanent display has been temporarily reconfigured to make space for this long-awaited exhibition.
