Photographic Documentation

The compilation of photodocumentation and photographing the museum’s materials, sites, excavations or vital events tied to the Museum’s history and operations are valuable and indispensable aspects of the Conservation and Restoration Department’s documentation activities.

The Photographic Archive contains photographic materials that constitute the infrastructural support for the Museum’s museological activities. It houses a collection of archival photo plates, negatives and black-and-white and colour photographs and, since 2005, digital photographs.
